Basic check in question.

I am travelling from SEA to AMS. The entire flight is coded on NW flight numbers. The flight from SEA to LAX is operated by Alaska. The flight from LAX to AMS is operated by KLM.
I have several questions:
1)In SEA, do I check in with NW or AS?
2)Do I have to recheck in with NW/KLM in LAX?
3)Is the KLM product better, worse or the same as NW?
4)Does KLM recognize Alaska MVP status?

Thank you in advance to your response to these questions.

I've not flown AS on a NW codeshare, but I believe that:

1) You'd check in at AS.
2) AS should do your boarding passes for all the segments, so no.
3) Somewhat better, but no great shakes.
4) Don't know.

Not sure where I'm going, but I'm getting there fast.
