New Schedule

The new flight schedule was posted today on nwa.com.

I was kind of surprised at some of the additional services being offered from Memphis during this period -

1 - A second PHX flight
2 - A fourth LGA flight
3 - The fourth VPS flight was added back (slated for reduction in last schedule)
4 - A third DEN flight
5 - A second SEA flight

Very nice work NW! Now they need to add a second, third or fourth frequency to LAS!

I guess I just noticed the timetable is only through January 6th - must be primarily holiday additions. Any word out there on whether these are permanent additions or just seasonal?

Thanks

Now only if they could add some MEM to east coast cities like BDL, PVD, ALB, and MHT. At least with CRJ's to start.....

Most of these flights are just seasonal. For example, the early morning DTW-LAX flight returns in time for Christmas... but as an A319 as oppsed to the B757/DC-10 it's always been (before they cut the early-morning feed into DTW). However, it's cut shortly after the holidays.

The second SEA-MEM flight was (and probably will be) operating during the summer.

NW is replacing two CRJ's with Avro RJ85's on the MEM-PNS route. With the arrival of the Avro's, it will be the first time that NW has ever offered F seats to PNS.
