TCV - HELP!

I had a TCV going to expire, and I had a trip booked for today and my plans were canceled. Now my almost $800.00 Y26 fare ticket will be refunded back to the original TCV with the expiration date of Oct 15 (next Tuesday) I won't be able to use by then. In the past they reissued TCV's with a new expiration date for another year didn't they??? Anyone with any help-FAST...

Why did you ask for a refund in the first place, as the value was already parked in a full fare!!!

May I suggest that you buy another full fare ticket. Then, use that value some time in the future towards another ticket.

So if I don't ask for a refund then I can use the credit towards another ticket, right? How long do you have do you have to use the credit on a Y26 ticket after the flight date?

As long as you are ticketed by the expiration date of the TCV you are okay. Suggest you book your spring travel (or winter getaway) now and use the value of the TCV for 2 or more tickets.
