Fare Class Question

I need F class availabilty on a particular flight SRQ-LAS on Dec 22nd. Flight 1605 SRQ-DTW shows F9 and Flight 1195 DTW-LAS shows F9 BUT when I put it together as one flight it shows F0 on both segments. Is this common and if so why would this be? Thanks for your insight.

This is very weird. I see the fare you are trying to price out a BR2F1R, and I see there is plenty of F on both of those legs. I almost think you are running into some kind of strange trip logic, but it is pretty rare to find an airline applying trip logic to a paid first ticket. I think this one might be worth a call to the platinum line to see if they can figure out what is up.

My guess is they do not want to sell the F seat on that route, since it will have be rather low to compete against Airtran & Delta prices. You can pull it up seperate with a different price.
