I am ticketed on CO stock with CO 5xxx flight numbers, YYZ-DTW. Do I check in with CO or NW? Can I use either kiosk if they are there? Do both carriers have their own check-ins at YYZ or is it shared like in ORD?

You will need to check in with a NW agent. Toronto does not have the kiosks, so you will have to stand in the line at the ticket counter.

Check in with NWA. It is right next to the CO check in. BTW, they new have a "fast" lane at security for people of status in T3 transborder.

NW sometimes uses their Elite line to double as the group check-in line at YYZ, so beware of that! I was at Pearson on Monday and saw about 120 kids with backpacks in the Elite line and almost died laughing.
