Complain to the TSA!
I have just completed an e-mail message to the Transportation Security Administration regarding the horrible security lines at DTW. The new WorldGateway terminal has about 26 security lines (16 on ticketing level, 5 on the gate level and 5 from intl to dom. area) yet only two or three X-ray machines are open at any of the three locations.
The TSA has got to hire more screeners, yet on their website they state that there are no plans to hire any more than the 40 or so already in training in OKC.
Seeing the security lines at DTW makes me sick that we have this brand new facility yet still the same old issues with security.
The e-mail address is:

GOOD!! send them the emails en-masse. Maybe that will light a fire under the people in the badge office, to pump the badges for DTW workers out at a faster pace than 2 weeks for one!! Apparantly they have the people, they just don't have the badges and security clearances.

The government is in charge now. In less than 6 months, we will be pining for the "Old Days" of Argenbright.
Remember the old adage:
To err is human, to really screw up requires a government "worker".
