UA upgrade practice
Interesting conversation on the United board..."lost it on united". Lots of their 1Ks complaining about "Employee Class" abuses. I've never seen NW gate agents do what the UA folks seem to.

Conversations about "employee class" on UA have been going on for quite some time...

No, no particular reason. You say this has been a frequent topic so there is little likelihood of it changing?

Welcome to Flyertalk Jim,
I for one do not read the threads for all of the airlines, only those that I fly or that happen to interest me. I for one appreciate being directed to a forum that might have an interesting discussion going on. I might suggest that if you want to let the community know about something that we all might be interested in it would be better to post it in General or another broad group so that everyone can see it.
Again, Welcom to Flyertalk!

Thanks, Tolarian and Warren for your support. I did not mean to offend Mr/Mrs/Ms Messier.

In any case, I'm sorry if I gave the impression of being offended. (Though I must admit I still think that posting this twice in airline specific forums isn't the best way of drawing attention to this issue.)
Regardless, allow me to welcome you to FT as well Jim.
Cheers,
Sebastien
