Bonus miles for e-ticket check-in?

I thought I saw something about a 1000 mile bonus for using E-ticket check in but I can't seem to find the info now. The NW website is devoid of info on this. Anyone know what I am talking about or did I dream this up?

I've heard deals of some airlines offering bonus miles for checking in electronically at kiosks that some airlines are now offering in certain airports, this may be what you're thinking of. I don't know if NW was one of the airlines or not ...

that 1000 mile bonus is for checking in at an electronic service center (500 miles each way). i don't know where all of them are located, but I do know they have them in detroit and seattle. (i think they have them at all of their hubs and/or major cities.) the bonus is only good if your initial check in is at the electronic service center, so if you fly on horizon/alaska/northwest airlink before you get to the machine, you won't get the bonus. (sucks doesn't it? i've missed out on thousands of points because of this.)
