Upgrades on a CO Codeshare/ NW operated?
CO has tickets MUCH cheaper on a NW operated flight than NW does, but I am wondering as a plat, will I be upgraded by NW, or in the CO queue?

If your WP# is in the res. and the flights are operated by NW, NW will treat you as a NW Plat and not a CO Plat. The codeshare trick is nice, isn't it?

Do you have to be flying in a certain fare bucket to get the upgrade on a CO (not NW operated) flight?
I'm flying DTW-EWR-SJU in L. Talked to elite line, they said no upgrade for me.

You've got as good of a chance as normal for upgrades. When I flew PHX-IAH-SJU in January, I was upgraded on 3/4 legs as a NW Plat. In fact, I found the US-SJU flights an easier upgrade than normal domestic flights. It's possible that the plane if full in FC, so perhaps check online.
