Using Skyteam Miles for Upgrade
Do any NWA partner airlines alllow me to purchase a coach ticket and upgrade using miles. I dont have many WP miles but have many AMEX MR miles that I can transfer

Each of KLM and CO flights in each case under certain circumstances can be upgraded with WP miles. That is the sum of the upgrade universe for other airlines using WP miles.

OK. But what if i want to buy an NWA flight and upgrade with using delta, continental or hawaiian miles? Is that possible?

Others will have to check me on this, but I believe that the reverse is true. KLM miles and CO miles only in each case again under certain circumstances.
