I havent received my Gold elite package for 2007. Is anyone else missing their package too? What do you do to get it?

Have you called the elite line to ask?

Thumbs down

I haven't gotten mine either, but I've been traveling abroad since January, having my mail forwarded to relatives within the US who in turn have been remailing it to me. They've not seen anything from NWA that I know of.

Calling the elite line internationally is a pain, but I'll be stateside (though still thousands of miles from home) for a few weeks starting tomorrow, and intend to call them and ask what's going on. I did a TTU a while ago and was basically just told to wait, but now that we're into April, I'd really like to have the real card, not just a color inkjet printout.

I haven't received my 2007 Elite kit

I haven't received my 2007 Elite kit, but to be honest, it really doesn't matter much, nobody at the airport ever asks to see the Elite card, the BP has the elite status printed on it, and most of the benefits are computerized, so this year and going forward the elite tier status remains important, but the card/kit is not such a big deal.

Unless you travel in Europe. Access to clubs is much easier if you have your card.

Access to clubs isn't an issue (as a Worldclub member)

As a worldclub member, and while traveling internationally as a Plat Elite I have access to Worldclubs/affiliate lounges. Although AF lounges seem to be the most restrictive in gaining admittance.

That is not the issue. Of course you have access. I simply stated that having a card makes it a lot easier to pass by the frontdesk agent.

Also, when boarding flights to the US, I have been asked to show my card to the security agents at the gate. You do not have to show it, but why rock the boat.

Card is helpful when NOT flying.

Having an actual card can be handy when dealing with certain non-air partners, like car rental companies. Maybe hotels, though I have no experience in that area. Just a data point.

My BF's gold stuff came at the beginning of March. Call NW or send a TTU. All elites should get their credentials timely, even if it's not completely needed

The only time I have ever been asked for my card was in BKK. Checking in at business class counter, flying coach. Naturally, it was the only time in over ten years that I didn't have it with me The lady accepted my gold luggage tag, thankfully. Never been asked again.

I still have not received mine either. I do agree however that a simple print-out from nwa.com as far as a temoprary card is concerned is not always good enough at European WorldClubs, not to mention partner clubs, such as the MXP AZ or CDG AF lounges.

Do Silvers get any package / card? I've been Silver since Jan and was hoping to get a card. I still don't even know the Silver phone number? Wait times have not been that long on the main number though.

Yes.

Last year, I earned all 3 levels of status, and generally got the package within 2-3 weeks of reaching a level. (In fact, I got my 2006 platinum card in late January of this year, at which point...why bother?
