I have noticed one improvement on nwa.com (it counts as "automation"): I found a fare that I was interested in and I saved the itinerary. With my schedule being uncertain, it was 3 weeks later when I knew that I could actually fly that itinerary. I went to my itineraries and selected the one that I had saved and it showed with a new price. I understand that the fare was no longer available at the price I had originally found it (and I would have had to buy it then to lock that price), but I was pleasantly surprised that it re-priced that itin and I still had the option to buy it without going through all the searches again. Before, (and I remember doing this several times) it would just say that the fare is no longer available, and I was forced to go through all the searches again. This would happen even just a few hours after I had saved the itin. ^ ^ Way to go nwa.com!!

Please. Oh, and at NRT, can we have the elite boarding announcement in English too? ;)
That would be really, really cool. Hadn't thought about it. On the other hand, flights in Europe are so short... |

Of course, ES service is a bit nicer, but then again, KL Coach within Europe is almost as good as NW domestic F. Steve |

Amazing. I agree ---BRING Them back---I'd even pay $$$ for those in the store if they were sold anywhere. |

When flying Delta they require your card to preboard.

I can't think of very many "domestic" European flights. Most are going to another country. :D
AF at least has things like CDG-LYS domestically. Intra-European upgrades (and heck, any upgrades) would be nice, though. |
2007-2008 Worldperks changes thread
I can't find a thread on this, so I thought I would start one. I wonder how that confusing new website of theirs is going to make award redemption.

There also is KLM 251 AMS-RTM -- but its a train :) But then again, isn't Aruba officially part of the Netherlands? So that is a domestic flight, but they could treat it like we do HI -- domestic but not upgradeable. |
