EUA to F?

EUA to F?
Ok, so I did do a search but it was fruitless.
Anyway, got an EUA recently 4 days out on two flight segments. One posted to R as usual, the other to F. The second flight had plenty of coach avail, and FC had plenty of P/F availability to. What gives?

I have seen such things on the day of travel (although usually into P), or through invol. reroutes. Strange that this happened 4 days out

the ONLY time F or Y bonus will be applied where not "deserved" is invol. reroutes or odd re-routings/flight changes where they actually BOOK you a new ticket in F/P/Y, whereas the EUA only SEATS you there, your ticket is still a coach ticket
A lot of my Y and B upgrades go to F/P instead of R

good point about the 50% EQM Bonus (150% total) that i get anyways, but no banked bonus miles for getting upgraded to P or F. And with EUA I still bet he only gets his actual booked mileage (barring irregular flight ops) - we'll see in about 7 days I guess =)

So I guess I'll report if I get the 50% EQM bonus or not. Still don't know why I was EUA'd at 4 days out to F. I've only seen R at EUA. F will show up at BF UG's. Anyone else know?

I've kept a close tab on my upgrade types (see sig), and I've only gotten an "F" in my online statement for two reasons... a paid F (burned a VDB on an F special), and BF. So for me, the rule is EUA posts as R, BF posts as F.

I've only had one or 2 BF upgrades - everything else happens at least 1 day out. the one/2 BF upgrades did post as F, but so do a bunch of EUAs

Ok, so my F posted and no 50% EQM bonus. It must be only when you pay for P/F. Anyway, still don't know why I EUA'd to F. Only (and all) my BF (3-4 this year) have posted to F.
