If my memory serves me correctly, we all read about two weeks ago that NW is going to be adding capacity to the current route network.
Then this morning I woke up to read in USA Today that DL and NW have cut 14-15% of flights in the last year, making it sound as if there's a new round of cuts coming. The Indianapolis Star also ran this rather pointless story about the same issue as well.
Thoughts?

I thougth NW was going to replace the cancelled flights when they decide what they are going to do about Mesaba/Pinnacle/Compass situation and what kind of aircrafts will be replacing the RJ-85/CRJs. I haven't seen many RJ85s these days while lot of CRJs are around. I hope NW decides soon to replace with new planes so the cancelled routes can come back.

So I read them as in the past year they have both severely cut back....the articles don't address what is going to happen....their crystal balls must be on back order like mine!
