pcmud, welcome to FC! It will change your life; you, too, will begin to maximize your segs and miles, on the off chance you may be occasionally be awarded entrance by virtue of your exalted status....
Seriously, enjoy. If it's your first time, it will be great. Just get on first, so you will have time to enjoy the boarding drink, and won't have to be bored in the jetway. The biggest advantage of FC is FIFO.
All the best, James

Definitely have fun with the drinks. The little bottles of Seagram's VO make me feel like a giant

Enjoy just being a "special" customer that day. One of my favorites is really inconsequential, but I just love for the FA to hang up my suit jacket, then bring it to me shortly before landing.
Enjoy it to the fullest!

Definately check out the MEM and DTW Worldclubs...you have access flying in World Biz Class on international flights. You'll just have to show your WBC boarding pass to enter during any segments of your flight. DTW has a shower in the main lounge too if you need it.

So yeah....the Worldclubs are nice but if you are doing a bit of travel together this summer, maybe a $80 trial 2 month membership for the WorldClubs? Not a whole lots extra and you can use the membership at all three airports....6 visits for 2 people....just a thought since you've spleged on the FC tickets already...

I couldda hit the clubs at SEA and MSP, then LGA, MSP and SEA on my way back, then SEA and MSP on my way east again (and maybe a CO club at EWR, if it gets one into those), and MSP and HNL on my way back.

Enjoy the greater footroom, slightly wider seat, and just the feeling of being "up front".
