What is "Connect First"?
I was doing a flex search on nwa.com HNL-ANC and on the results grid there was a small light blue baggage-looking icon with the words "Connect First" next to it. There's no definition listed in the Special Fares Key either.

Purchase a full fare "Y" class coach ticket on a flight which has a hub connection (so not a n/s), and receive a space-available upgrade to 1st class at no charge.
Fare basis should include UP (likely YUP). Assuming there's a seat in 1st when you book, you should be able to get the immediate upgrade, since I believe these seats are from the P bucket.

Um... yeah. Exactly what distinctive in-flight services have I missed recently?

"ConnectFirst" is an old Latin term for "gonna cost you a bundle."
