Did any one ever use the WPAA Lister? I did a few times early last year and it helped a lot. I found out recently that it was shut down.
WPAA Lister, the unofficial World Perks award availability lister has stopped in early March 2005, after 6 years of service. This is due to a critical change in the nwa.com website where WPAA Lister relies its availability information. (They started to block connections from WPAA Lister intentionally.)
I've thought of moving WPAA Lister to a new host, but you can imagine that they will eventually start blocking again.
So now I am planning to write a standalone program that does the same thing as WPAA Lister, which you can download and run it on your own computer.
If you have any comments, requets, and advises, please post it in the user forum below. The form of the new program and my motivation in developing it will be greatly affected by your posts.

Lots of threads on this topic.
Use www.nwa.com/jp/en instead --- this is the website WPAA extracted its information from. Much more useful than the USA website...

What do you find more valuable about the Japanese version? I was searching for an award flight from GRR to SJU for the end of January and it gave me nothing, but plenty of options using the normal US site.

The WPAA Lister was useful back then... Now I find the US site to give plenty of options and you can book them right away. The lister was getting anoying with the popup adds.

1. It's faster than the USA-based website.
2. You can quickly search for award seats +/- 7 days (I wish they had a +/- 3 days option...)
3. You can search for seats on DL, CO, etc. without the NW junk. This is very useful for searching for "gateway" flights (flights to/from cities with limited service... Asia, Hawaii, Europe, etc.) and flights to that gateway.
