Rulebuster Rules

How do I tell what the rulebuster rules are for a flight? I'm trying to use my miles for 2 tickets to London, would like to visit this summer, dates are pretty flexible but everything comes up as rulebuster requiring 100,000 miles for each ticket.

What rules are you concerned about?

Welcome to the new Northwest Airlines! I think many of us can relate to your experience.

As far rules for rulebuster go, there really aren't any, like the name implies. You can book into any 'Y' seat in economy, as well as 'C' in World Business Class (not 'J', though). I don't recall from the top of my head if rulebuster books into 'F' or 'P' for domestic first class, but either way, availability in first class should be decent if you book at least a week before the flight.

You can make changes or cancel a rulebuster award ticket, but will have to pay a change fee unless you are a Platinum Elite member.

Hope this helps!
