Question Elp-msp

Well, I am flying to BDL, and I am flying ELP-MSP-BDL

But the ELP-MSP flight is on a CRJ

Isn't that a little long of a flight to be on a small plane?

Anyone has taken that flight before?

1148 miles. Yawn.

And don't we have enough threads about too long CRJ flights already?

For once I agree with you UpgradeMe. If you think this is long, you should check out some of CO's dang-near long hauls on these little suckers!

Sorry, don't mean to pollute the board with yet-another-too-long-crj-flight thread

First time I am flying NWA in a while, so just wanted to get some opinions.

Hope the flight crew is friendlier

jfe I commiserate with you - it is a nuisance that we have to live with.
I sat next to a rather large women MSP-BMH and it was the closest I have been to a women since I got married

Nope, he was serious. It is a very little-known flight.

You think that's bad, I am a large fellow myself, but I fit in the seat no problem and no extenders.

Well, this guy who is 50% bigger than me is sitting in the same exit row as me, and the flight is full

It was a rather uncomfortable flight

ELP/MSP is a long, long flight in a CRJ

This flight is about 2-1/2 hours. Way too long for a 50 seat a/c. In the summer there are weight and balance issues when the temp in ELP exceeps 105F, so often there are involuntary dienied boarding pax.

I wish that there was enough traffic to justify a larger mainline plane.

The MSP-ELP is a long flight in the CRJ with no service. Where possible, I try to avoid that connection and use Continental because CO has a few daily flights from Houston with a first class cabin. I have had good experience being upgraded on that segment, even before I made Platinum.
