Is this concidered back-to-back ticketing?

Ticket 1: MSP-EWR

Ticket 2: EWR-SIN

The part in question is the EWR-SIN routing, which is EWR-MSP-NRT-SIN and back. Is this sceniario considered back to back ticketing since the EWR-SIN trip routes me through MSP?

It's considered end to end, which is legal. Plug it in multi-city, and NW will give you the choice. Or at least I've been given the choice to double back thru my city of origin.
