I love NW!
UG'd 1 day in advance (as advertised) on SEA-MSP red-eye for this tin elite! ^ ^
after lollygagging on the CO board for a few days, my appreciation for NWA is much heightened. Thanks NW!!
now just a prayer for the second leg...

Hey I'm a plat and I only have 2/4 for this weekend. One is showing P1 F1 Y1, so might have to settle for a bump.

I got a gate upgrade SEA-MSP today on 440, the 12:20 departure... definitely didn't expect anything with spring break travel in full swing and Sea-Tac heaving with people... what a nice surprise. Rock on Po (the GA who cleared the UGs at S2 today). He ran a scrupulously fair and friendly UG derby.

Flew my first time as a Silver this week:
PHL-MSP-LAN-DTW-PHL
Got upgraded on all but the DTW-PHL segment. As someone who gets thrilled by simply getting an exit row, this was outstanding. ^ I'll continue to fly NW as much as possible, though unfortunately I have to spend a lot of time on US

One more just cleared, on the leg that was showing P2 F2. It's now showing P1 F0 Y3 B3 M3 H3 Q3 V1 L1 T0 K0. NW rocks!
(except to elites on other programs -- it's lousy, don't come over. Stay where you are.)

Agreed, NW has been getting a lot of praise on other boards. Maybe we should start a disinfoirmation campaign on the DL and CO boards. You know..
I never get EAU'd
They gave my exit roiw to non-elite
NW is removing all but 4 seats in FC
That kind of stuff

I agree with all you posters. It's the domestic upgrades that keep me wanting to fly NW; with 4-5 flights a week it really makes a difference. Unfortunately, my new supervisor wants me to fly USeless Airways, who have delayed me by more than 3 hours on about 75% of the flights I've taken with them. Of course, people with desk jobs don't really understand how huge upgrades are!! But I'll enjoy it when I can.

I have a desk job. But I fly NWA in my free time. Why? The upgrades! If it weren't for EUA I would sit home and watch the Travel Channel. Not only that, but it got me to go from 25k to 50k just to watch increased upgrades pop in 2 days sooner!

Y may be oversold, but they are hoping for last minute tickets, and they would put the full-fare elite in FC. At the gate, they will upgrade before they bump. Both are possible. I would hope for the upgrade.
They release the R bucket at seemingly random times. I have been getting EUA at 6, 5, 4, 3, and 1 day in advance, or at the gate. Two different legs will bump up at different times. If they release more R seats, they will upgrade you before golds and silvers.

There is no upgrade.
Truly F and Y both oversold? It would require overnight stay at DTW if there is a bump.
