I have an upcoming flight this weekend, and noticed that the upgrades seem to be coming on time (5 days out), instead of a bit early (6-7 days) like they were earlier this year. I have one leg that hasn't been upgraded yet (next Monday), but I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't get an UG on a 757!

the NW elite line has told me if there "are or aren't" any R seats available... but I've never asked "how many." I'd also be interested in how people are 'viewing' this online.

SFO-DTW was coach and indeed not so fun, but my Frommer's Hong Kong book helped greatly. And, Live4Miles, 12,473 wasn't such a bad mileage total for my $211 ticket.
