AF coded, AF operated = 100%
DL coded, DL operated = 100%

DL coded, AF operated = unclear
AF operated, DL coded = unclear

per nwa.com

I would assume 100% - anyone know differently?

I may just be lucky, but I got 100% EQM for DL coded, AF operated across the pond in mid-February. And 125% plat bonus instead of 100%.

Oops--
Well, maybe not -- the original was DL coded, AF operated but I misconnected and went out the next day. When AF rebooked, they coded the flight as AF. Sorry

The code means absolutely nothing as far as EQM's are concerned. The only thing that matters is who operates it.

Where you get into trouble is on codes for say DL that are operated by someone that is not a partner of Skyteam or NWA.

For instance you will have trouble earning miles on KLM coded flights operated by Transavia. Transavia is a partner of KLM, but not of NWA or Skyteam therefore you would not earn miles on Transavia operated but KLM Coded flights.

I also think that Virgin Atlantic is a Partner of CO (and maybe DL) but not of NW or Skyteam, so you could fly a CO coded Virgin flight, but you could not earn miles/EQM on it since it was not operated by CO. However, if you purchase a Virgin Coded CO operated flight you should be able to earn NW miles since it is operated by CO therefore it will also have a NW code for the flight.

hmm... i believe what you are saying, and i'm sure you are correct, but:

>> Earning/Redeeming Miles

Earn miles on all SkyTeam-coded, Air France-operated flights. (this doesn't explicitly say anything about EQMs; it seems to refer to banked miles)

>> Elite Qualifying Air France Fare Classes on Air France-coded, Air France-operated

Elite Qualifying Miles at 150%: P, F, J, C, D, I, Z, Y, S,

Elite Qualifying Miles at 100%: A, B, M, K, H, T, R, L, N, V, Q, U, W, E

(this doesn't specifically state that Sky Team-coded, AF operated flights earn 100% EQMs)

Maybe this will clarify it for you:

From NWA.com Skyteam Frequently asked questions page.

How will SkyTeam benefit me as a WorldPerks member?
WorldPerks members can now earn and redeem WorldPerks miles on all nine airlines throughout the SkyTeam network. You now have more travel options, with the schedules and destinations of five additional airlines serving all your travel needs - for business or pleasure! All miles earned on any SkyTeam partner will also count toward WorldPerks Elite status. See SkyTeam Network for destinations served by our SkyTeam partners, as well as which SkyTeam partner flights are valid for WorldPerks accrual and redemptions.

But you are right, it does not specifically state that you earn 100% EQM.

I've been told you will NOT get EQMs; in fact, not any NW miles at all. I've been looking at this exact same issue with a Delta-coded Korean flight, and the answer I get is that I can't earn NW miles at all on such a flight. Fly the exact same flight Korean coded, no problem, earn EQMs, but the code shares will get you into trouble (even when both carriers are SkyTeam). However, I'd be very happy if someone proved me wrong on this one.

Still leaves a little wiggle room [earn MILES--ie not necessarily EQM's--on all Sky Team coded AF operated...]

I called WP and spoke with 2 diff reps, neither of whom really knew anything in particular.

The DL-coded, KE-operated is slightly unusual, in that not all KE-coded, KE-operated flights earn 100% (or indeed, any) EQMs to begin with. It is similar to the situation with CO, in which all flights earn 100% miles, but not necessarily 100% EQMs.

However, I would agree (and pray) that the weight of the evidence suggests AF-coded, DL-operated and DL-coded, AF-operated flights would earn 100% EQMs. Certainly one would have a good argument if they showed any push-back.

In October I flew Delta coded flights that included DL, AF & OK as carriers to PRG and back. I was surprised to get my NW WorldPerks mileage credit as well as the proper EQMs within 2-3 days on all of these flights. Have some faith in the SkyTeam alliance!

This particularly ambiguity in the WP rules was discussed extensively about 2 months ago. With search down it is very difficult to locate such threads.

Cannot quite remember the consensus but I don't think anyone was clear about the answer to your question, as the rules are indeed ambiguous, and I believe different people had different experiences.

One experience. I just got 100% mileage, 125% plat bonus, 100% EQM and segment credits for DL coded, AF operated flights in Feb CDG-BUD and return; booked in V. It took about a month and I had to request the miles, but they posted in full.

Does anyone know if DL-coded B class AF-operated will track as AF S-class for 150%eqm purposes? I only ask because it appears that DL-coded B class posts as CO-operated K class, not H (as the Y/B DL, CO Y/H hierarchy would lead one to assume).
