E Ticket problem.
I had a really odd one last week which I thought that I would share with you guys.
I bought a Northwest ticket last week , just to go to the Mid West. I received the E ticket details from my travel agent and promptly downloaded the Worldspan itinerary, which was exactly as I requested, complete with reference to the PNR Northwest reference. Imagine my surprise on checking back in for the return journey to be told by Minneapolis check in, that, 'Sorry, you're a day too early!' 'No way' says I, clutching my print out. The upshot, was despite the intervention of a 'Supervisor', I had to pay $100 for a ticket change...(refunded by my travel agent this morning.) We, him and I, have still not got to the bottom of it....how can the PNR locator, 'change' my ticket data unbeknown to me ? In this instance it wasn't a major problem, but supposing there was a connection at the other end, or the flight was full ?? Strange.
