Different lounge at JFK?
I just noticed on NWA's website that NW is now affiliated with T4 Sky Lounge at JFK instead of the Aer Lingus lounge. I believe this is a fairly new change - my NW WorldClubs lounge location guide still lists Aer Lingus. I know others have commented positively about the Aer Lingus lounge, does anybody know anything about the T4 Sky Lounge? Is it as good as the Aer Lingus lounge?

Hmm...thats interesting. I was in the Aer Lingus club last month. I am not even sure which of the lounges upstairs they are talking about.

T4 Lounge = Aer Lingus Lounge
It's the exact same lounge with the exact same charming SwissPort staff. AerLingus no longer "owns" it though.
It's the best non-"J passengers only" lounge in the WC system. Yummy mini-sammiches in the afternoon and great cookies, plus PCs with working internet access. And a shower room!

I agree that it's a great lounge. Only one downside: it's outside security. So when they call your flight, you can't just go straight to the gate. And if you go through security and then start looking for the lounge (like I did), you have to clear security twice.

As a CO PClub member I have used the NW WC/SkyLounge/Aer Lingus lounge a few times now before my flights out of JFK.
I liked the WC in JFK for its unusual design, kind of like a castle, shame it is now gone.

I'm at the club as we speak. I do believe it has wireless internet, I see a few people with open laptops (I can only assume they're surfing the web). There are 4 free PCs with fast internet, FYI.
Otherwise, the lounge is fully stocked - all kinds of bottled beer, some decent munchies, free towels for showers, and great leather lounge chairs/daybeds. Glad I found this club and thanks to the earlier poster who advised me that it's OUTSIDE security!
Now off to a fun 21 hours in transit on the way to HKG...
