Hello:
I searched this site to find the right forum to post this in. And I think this is the closest one. My appoligies if it is not.
Here goes --- FINALLY got enought NW perk miles to go to Hawaii for hubby and myself. Took 11 years but I got them...
Anyrate this will be my first trip that I would use the workperk miles for. Not expecting to go until end of next April 2006.
What type of restrictions should I watch out for and when should I start looking to book my flight as I know the world perk seats fill up fast.
Once booked can they change you - like dates etc.. meaning can Northwest change your flights and dates because you purchased the ticket with frequent flyer miles?
Again and tips and pointers from you frequent flyers would be appreciated.
Aloha,

Generally, you can book award travel 330 days out. You might get a better response on the Northwest forum, being that your travel involves the Northwest program.

Don't see a NW forum!
Thank you!
Although I don't see a NW forum! But then I might not be looking in the right place.

Click on "Miles & Points" on the top banner and scroll down into the section with airline forums to the Northwest Worldperks forum.

If you want to check award availability for more than 1 day at a time, this is a useful link. http://usr.v7.com/wpaa/

Another tip is to keep looking frequently. The award inventory varies and changes daily sometimes. Also, look at all of your options (MSP, DRW, SEA, etc) as a connection.
