Elite Qualifying Segment question
I recently had flights posted to my account that had been upgraded to first class. They posted, under "Class Flown/Paid", R/K and R/T. The flights DID post as an EQM Segment credit.
I was under the impression that the only paid classes that qualified for segments were P,F,J,C,Z,Y and B. Am I missing something? Don't get me wrong--I'm glad the have the segments posted to my account, but I didn't think that class K and T qualified.

I noticed that too on several T fare flights of mine. Maybe they updated their rules but forgot to update the website? Who knows.

Check out the 2005 Elite guide. Under the old rules, only segments flown under certain fare classes were "EQSs". For 2005, the number of segments required to gain elite status is higher than in the past, but all fare classes on NW give you elite qualifying segments. So it's no mistake--T and K fares (as with any other paid fare class) will give you an elite qualifying segment now, but you need more EQSs to attain any given elite level.
