First Class to/from PWM for Winter?

I'm about to write US Air off, and am considering NWA. I noticed currently 3 of the 4 round trips to DTW from PWM have a first class cabin. Does anyone know if NWA plans to reduce PWM to all CRJ's again for the winter?? I may consider NWA if they keep most of their flights with first class year round. Right now the only first class cabin available out of PWM year round is on Delta to CVG and ATL with their horrible MQM system. I've made Chairman's on segements for six years on US and will struggle to make Gold on Delta with equivelant flying.

NWA doesn't fly its own metal to PWM; Mesaba and Pinnacle handle that route. If Mesaba pulls out for some reason, then you'll see only CRJs, since that's pretty much all Pinnacle flies. Unfortunately for me, Mesaba flies only at inconvenient times.

I'm not sure whether the PWM runway/ILS enhancements are complete yet; PWM cancelled some Pinnacle flights recently due to runway resurfacing because the CRJ's need more length than the ARJ's.

Indeed, the January schedule shows Pinnacle 4x PWM-DTW in CRJs. There are some DC-9s and Avros with First at more pleasant times of the year, and the NW configurations on those planes give a high ratio of First to Coach seats, so upgrades can be easy to get.

I booked a flight 2 weeks ago from AUS to LAS and with connection in MEM.
My MEM to AUS flight was on a Mesaba on RJA in F Class. I found out this
week that it was changed to Pinnacle on CRJ in Y Class. Anyway, I was
wondering if I could get anyone compensation for this since I won't be
earning as much miles?
