Things to do over Easter

OK, I will be in NYC in around 12 hours time.
I have been here many times before, but just wondering dothings close during Easter?
Also any recommendation to things to do?

What "things" did you have in mind?

We're going to church and we're going to Yankee Stadium. My husband is going to the game tomorrow night and the two of us will be going both on Saturday and Sunday. We'll be one of many couples dressed up on Sunday.

Bed Bath and Beyond

I was just in Bed Bath and Beyond today, on Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) and W. 18th Street.

The store has a sign posted out front indicating that it will be open on Sunday, April 8 Easter. You could always go browsing in there if you need to do something to spend time, and money.

Too late to help now, but that is because we were in NYC having a wonderful weekend...I hope the OP found that NYC on Easter weekend is pretty much like NYC on any weekend -- too much going on to possibly do it all.

Highlights included morning runs in Central Park (two loops = approx 10 miles), dinner with drag at Lips (ok, this one may have jumped the shark now with the multiple 21-year old birthday groups but is probably still outside the norm for the average tourist), and an afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (the Barcelona/Modernisme exhibit is great.)

I hope everyone else had a great weekend doing whatever made them happy.
