Fire at Famed New York Restaurant
NEW YORK (AP) -- A fire that forced the evacuation of the swank Rainbow Room was deemed suspicious by authorities.
The cause of Thursday's fire in a construction area next to the cabaret and restaurant is under investigation. Authorities wouldn't say Friday why they consider it suspicious.
No injuries were reported. The fire caused minimal damage and the restaurant was open for business as usual on Friday.
