When to New York, where should I go first and is the food situation expensive?

I have an upcoming business trip to America and is the first time coming to this country so I don't know what is there! Have you been there can give me some information? Thank you everyone

There are many threads on this board about what to do in NYC and where to eat so have a scan through.
I'd also have a look at this website - https://www.nycgo.com/ - and other sites such as Time Out
It's hard to give tailored advice as we don't now what your interests are and what your budget it. Also when are you visiting and how long for as that will to a very great degree affect what museums, shops and bars etc will be open.

1. Stay away from New York City as much as possible to reduce the transmission of Covid-19.
2. While it may be considered racist or bigotry to say that certain areas are more dangerous than other, certain areas are more dangerous.
3. Even if a place is open, such as a museum, that doesn't mean that you cannot catch Covid-19.
I do not write this to generate fear for in late February, I was planning a trip to New York myself even despite Flyertalk warnings not to come.

Unless you can find a city where the crime rate in every neighborhood is identical, this statement is true in every city in the world. That said, NYC is a remarkably safe city.
