EWR Redevelopment - New Terminal 1 to be built
EWR to build a new terminal 1 for $2.7 billon.

Terminal One is estimated to have a partial opening in 2021 and be in full operation by 2022, officials said.

Whoever did the renderings must have been smoking the good stuff.
They don't match the article's contents at all. The article says that Terminal A will be modified but not replaced. The rendering shows an impossibly scaled down terminal in a space that would not fit that large of a building, and somehow has it as a new building, rotated, and with access to the P3 lot instead of the terminal loop road with the AirTrain.
