Question Cape Cod vacation

I am planning a family vacation to the Cape for the end of June. I'd like advice on things to do, places to see, etc. Obviously a good part of the trip will be spent on the beaches, but I'm also interested in other activities. I suppose it is noteworthy that there will be young children participating as well. I know there are whale watching tours but I am unsure if a three hour boat ride is something the children will enjoy. I'd appreciate any and all suggestions!

Cape Cod is a big place. Will you be near Hyannis or P-Town? The north shore (Bay side) or the south shore (Ocean)? My kids loved the ponds over the ocean when we went. How old are your kids?

We rented a house with another family (best friends) and did family things, baseball games, fishing, crafts when it rained. Some of the best summers we had and we did it 8 years in a row.

We also went whale watching and walking around P-town every year. It was part of the routine. One year the water was so choppy we all got sick.

There was a trampoline place on rt.6 ( don't know if it's still there) that was fun.
