Police and rescue workers were still searching Saturday night for a twin engine plane that went down on its way to Rutland. Vermont State Police Sgt. Steve Brown said planes were in the air early Saturday morning to start looking for the twin engine Aerostar that was reported missing Friday evening. He said searchers had not spotted the plane and were trying to narrow its possible whereabouts. The plane is believed to be somewhere near Pittsfield, he said.
“What happened earlier is we had calls of a low flying plane in Rochester/Pittsfield,” Brown said

A Pennsylvania couple was found dead in the wreckage of their downed plane Sunday following a two-day search that came to an end in the woods in Chittenden.
