Uber will drive about as far out as you can think of. I know Uber is fine with going out to the 495 belt. Taxis same. Sure, cost is a concern (your no motels in the OP definitely indicates that), but logistically they are willing to do it. I've seen people take Uber Houston-Austin, which is almost 200 miles and 3 hours roughly.

uber doesn't go to where my sis lives. but thanks!

Serious answer:

If you are coming in on Delta, you can walk under cover to the Logan Airport Hilton. There is a heated enclosed sky-walkway from Terminal A over to the central parking garage, and another shorter one from the garage to the Hilton.

When you enter the Hilton you do so on an upper floor dominated by meeting rooms. If you were checking in, you'd walk past all that and find a down escalator to the lower lobby. But if you stay up there you will find warm, quiet places where you can most likely camp. I would not make a big show of sprawling out and going to sleep, but if you sit down and nod off I don't think anyone will find you.

And in the morning, you can piggy back on someone going into the gym (next to the check-in desks) to see if they have showers in the locker room there.

Unless your sis lives in Jackman, Maine, you can probably find an Uber driver willing to drive you wherever you want to go. You might want to call the driver who accepts your ride first, but you'll find one willing to drive you anywhere most likely as long as you're willing to pay. This one went from Virginia to NYC: http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/rea...77fb4dec4ad424

I also know Uber serves Worcester, Lowell, Providence RI, Springfield, Amherst/Northampton, the entire Cape, the Islands, etc. Trust me, they will near certainly be willing to drive you wherever you want to go as long as you're willing to pay. It's totally fine if you're not willing or able to pay (I get it, I've walked/taken city buses for some long distances, I'm cheap :D), but they are willing to do it.

Lyft serves all of Massachusetts now, if you want to do that.

loving all the helpful advice. however, arriving on my sister and infant at 230am via lyft or uber is not advisable!!

Again, that's a different thing, and a totally understandable reason not to take Uber/Lyft/taxi in your situation :). I was posting more for the benefit of anyone else reading.
