Do free days count towards status?
Does anyone know if a rental consisting of only free days (in this case, a one-day, one-way rental) counts towards qualification for Executive? I know I'm going to be tight this year, as I'm trying to make 5* as well as a hedge against National going downhill under new ownership...

I wondered this myself recently and as far as I can tell, reading the Emerald Club terms and conditions, any rental, any class of car, free day or paid, counts toward status. I believe rentals paid for with free days even count toward your next earned free day.
