Possible National discounts
I am not asking for undeserved National discount codes. Rather, I am asking how might I obtain some, perhaps by joining the right organizations or checking where I might already be entitled to a discount.
Costco membership: Avis, Alamo, Budget, Enterprise but not National
AAA membership: Hertz, Thrifty, Dollar but not National
my own alumni association has Hertz and some others but not National
USAA membership: Not National
National seems hard to find. Anyone try to get their own personal discount code from National? Or maybe convince an organization that you belong to try to get a National discount?
NEA (National Education Association): National. Non-teacher membership costs $25.
Disclaimer: I am not asking for someone to post "xyz company code is 12345" or "university of abc is 56789". Rather, how might I get a code by joining an organization or having some legitimate tie to something.

That's because National typically caters to business (not leisure) customers and as such, more of their "discounting" is targeted at large organizations. That has become more pronounced in recent years (i.e., cutting off ties with Entertainment).

After you login to BJ's select the Travel + Services link at the bottom of the bjs.com home page and then select the Car Rentals link.
That will give you all the direct links to the individual car rental companies.
The National Link already has the BJ's Web Offer imbedded.

Anyone have the right BJs Web Offer Contract ID? I'm a BJs member but can't find the code.
