Found this reference sheet for the industry standard rental car classification codes (world standard?):

I think we know more about rental fleets on this site than those in the industry.

I think National has some unique EHI-only codes that aren't on that list.

I got a Mazda CX-7 that was classified as IGAR - Intermediate Crossover.

I just finished a rental of a 2012 Terrain from MCO, and it was classified as SRAR.

It was the pretty loaded, 6 cylinder version.

I've seen Terrains listed under both SFAR and SRAR, not sure what the difference is between the two classifications.

What does your receipt say for SRAR? Standard Recreational?

FGAR, fullsize crossover: Mazda CX-9 Touring, with leather, seat heaters, auto HVAC but no backup camera. Adults headed for the 3rd row better be small and limber, and 7 people + luggage isn't going to work.
