adding drivers without being present
I'm planning a one way rental to move some things from New York to the Midwest. I plan on picking the car up the night before the big drive and loading it... along the way I'm going to pick up my father at Newark Airport to help with the driving. Is there a way I can add him as a driver without him being present at the rental?

No. The only way you can have this done is if your father is present with you. However, you can stop at any location while the rental is active and have him added as an additional driver, as long as he is present.
