First Class
I plan to fly National next week in First Class to Vegas. Has anyone flown this airline yet?

No, but I got bonus enrollment points by signing up for their program on their web site.

I have friends that has flown it out of NY. They said it was great and believe it or not they even liked the food. COAAPLAT - I would be interested in getting your opinion when you return. This airline has a lot of day flights to Vegas which is unusual, but I would like that for myself. AW does also, but they pack you in those planes like sardines.

I recently flew National from PHL-LAS. The flight was excellent. I got an upgrade for $360 rt (I'm not sure how much the original ticket was b/c it was a gift), which I felt was worth it for that long of a flight. The food was actually decent, and the flight attendants were very good. I did not feel like I was flying a "discount" airline whatsoever. In fact, I'd rate it above most of the big guys.

National was ranked #2 of US domestic airlines in Conde Nast's 2000 Reader's Choice Awards!

Best domestic F service I've ever had on a short flight (38 min LAS-LAX). Real glasses for preflight drinks! Haven't flown a longer haul though.
