Pill-Popping Pundit To Divorce

Rush Limbarugh, the Oxy-Contin Kid, will now be a three time loser (in all meanings of the words). No word on whether Wilma the drug connection was named as a respondent:

Damn. The guy smokes, drinks, is a back-alley hype, and he is getting divorced...again.

My, my, where are all the fundies and "family values" ditto-heads to turn now?

A good quote from the Limbaugh Divorce-III sequel:

"No word on who'll get custody of the rhetoric."

Well, put it this way...

Which is a worse affront to the institution of marriage:
(a) getting married and divorced three times

(b) getting married and then getting divorced within 72 hours (not RL, but what's-her-name)

(c) marrying someone of the same gender and living happily ever after
-- ?

I don't listen to him (don't listen to radio at all, actually), so can someone who DOES tell me if he has editorialized about marriage today? I'd be curious to hear what his thoughts about it are, especially in light of the gay marriage controversy. Thanks.

I've never heard a second of his show... but,you got me thinking. I don't even know what station he's on nor what time.

I think he's on in the NY market, 12-3.... who in the world can listen? Not many people can spend 3 hours listening to a talk show while they're at work. I know I can't.

What are the demographics of his audience?

I think the point they are making is that, if it is true that he, as one of the most prominent of today's self-styled conservatives, editorializes in such way which dovetails with 43's push to amend the Constitution, or at least speaks out against gay marriage based upon the notion of "protecting the sanctity of marriage," then what you have is one of the administration's biggest supporters in a position of suggesting marriage as an institution is weak and will only get weaker if gays are allowed to marry while, at the same time, dissolving his own THIRD marriage. People will say his own personal behavior is irrelevant to the truth of his arguments, which is true, but people will stop listening to him if he winds up looking like a self-indulgent spoiled brat.

He obviously REALLY believes in marriage.
