SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL
Shalom all. I just wanted to take a moment and write in my support for Israel.
Israel, we love you and we are there for you. You are in our prayers and our hearts
and we will never leave you! May the Israeli people know of our solidarity and friendship with you. God bless Israel! Peace and Shalom, Michael

I'm sorry that you've brought such a blatantly political thread to these forums. This should definitely be moved to the omni forum, please.
That said, I disagree with you strongly. Israel has in recent days shown that it is the aggressor in the region. I certainly do not love Israel, and it is not in my prayers. I hope that the Palestinians will be treated as the equal partners in peace that they ought to be, and that the world will speak out more strongly against Israel's tactics.

It is not a blatantly political message.- I love Ariel Sharon is more political. -I love Israel is showing my support.
Those bad Israelis, how dare they go and defend themselves. A suicide bomber blows up innocent Jews during a Passover Seder. You're right, they ought to just sit there and take it... Oy!!!
FYI, as for the righteous and non-murderous Palestinians, they are as well in my prayers and they are beloved. I have a friend in Bethlehem, she tells me how horrible it is, I feel for her.
I feel for all innocent people. World Peace!

Ahh yes... the aggressor. If your relatives were murdered by a suicide bomber while in the middle of a religious ceremony, I'm sure you would want to sit passively by and smile and talk peace and love and trust too. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif The US had one terrorist incident, we went in and cleaned house in an entire country that's halfway across the world. Israel has an incident about once a week on average and we tell them they should restrain themselves. I fail to see the logic therein.
So, TA, do you know how many tier points one must accrue to become Matmid gold? And how's the service back there in chozzer class?

Thanks kanebear! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
I'll buy you a beer/perrier, whatever, next time you are in LA...
There is way more than one incident per week.
TA, no hard feelings. I think you are going for peace for all, and if that is the case, then we are on the same side, as I just want peace for that beloved part of the world and for all the world.

I have emailed Randy asking him to shut this one down, I don't think El Al is interested in politics. Another tip would be to continue the othwerwise interesting conversation in one of the many topics on the situation in the middle east over in Omni...

Since this post doesn't involve El Al, I'm going to move it to Misposted Threads... I'd move it to Travel's OMNI, but there isn't a direct way to do that since Travel and Miles are separate boards; sorry about that.
