400$ in a transatlantic airplane ticket to tell someone I loved him. I was a student at that time and 400$ was my monthly allowance.

Didn't get the ring yet, but if anyone would like to gift me, it's LAGOS item # 02-80104-A. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Of course, I just got a lovely heirloom amethyst last week for my b-day that has to be reset... hmmm....

I know this is off topic, but it sort of belongs here.

The roommate is looking for a new money clip. He does not know exactly what type, but it needs to be glam. Any ideas? Does TAROM have any neat little gifts for its' best FFs? Maybe they would comp the roommate a few gifts to pick up his business?

As we currently only have one revenue paying passenger we don't hand out FF gifts. Maybe the local mall will have better advice? TaromGlam is currently investigating the possibility of inviting more passengers to use our service. Besides that, who uses cash anyway, the official staff at Tarom all use a company issued diamond amex.

Yes, being glam in a third world country can often be difficult, but we are trend setters here! Glam yet humble to the end (if such a combination can exist?)
