Security at EWR - what a Joke!!
This really was amazing:
I was waiting for someone to arrive at EWR (international) at the weekend. At the customs exit point there is also a staff entry point with a security stop.
I watched a half-dozen people go through this with bag searches and walking through the "electronic arch". Everyone who passed through did so without setting off the alarms.
Hardly surprising as the idiot who was on duty had unplugged it so that they could have their radio switched on....
Makes you feel real safe flying from EWR....not!

Please... for the sake of MY security... complain!!!
They unplug the security arch for customs yet they scream at me when my coat gets stuck in the size wise x-ray (at the U-A gate... you have to put everything on teh belt: bags, coats, wallets, cats, children, Frequent flyers!)
