ITN fixes SeatMapper for IE
apparently, itn has rewritten their java scripts to fix the problem where IE4/IE5 could not display the maps.
the maps still display errors (now even netscape is showing errors), but you can just tell the browser not to show errors and it works ok.
this repair only took one year to fix. now if only ual could get their account balances to be up-to-date...

don't know what to tell you unless you're looking at an old bookmarked page. the old seat mapper is still up on ual's web connection, and still does not work with IE. it has a revolving wheel while looking for seats, has the seat legend at the top of the window, and flights listed on the left.
the new seat mapper at www.itn.com has a spinning airplane (hopefully you will never experience this type of manuever in a real airplane) while looking for seats, has the seat legend at the bottom of the window, and flights listed on the top. it also looks a lot cleaner than the original, and more importantly, actually works.

Thanks for the information MileCrazy. I decided to sign up for the service (I like to have other sources to shop around for fares and hotel rates.)

It was a bad assumption on on my part. I saw ITN and thought you meant the United Connections. I forgot that ITN has its very own site too. Thanks.
Hopefully the UAL version will get fixed too.
