Three Quick Questions that I would be most appreciative if someone could help answer:
1. My husband and I are flying from LAX-FRA tomorrow. We are both Premier Executives on UA and thru the UA website, we booked the LH flight. As you know, UA does not allow you to pick a seat assignment in advance. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to ensure a window/aisle on the 2/2 side? (It's a A-340 and I'm dreading arriving to the airport and LH assigning us a middle row).
2. Am I allowed to use the Lufthansa Premier line? Either at the check-in counter or thru Security?
2. Normally when flying on UA trans-Atlantic, the Premier Executive status allows me to use the Red Carpet Club for free. Because the flight is on Lufthansa, does that allow us to use their lounge as well.
Thanks for any help!!

Call Lufthansa, they were able to assign a seat for me when I booked a reward ticket through United.

Welcome to FlyerTalk!!
Dunno why you think UA doesn't allow seat selection in advance. I've always chosen seats in advance. You can also call Lufthansa reservations to have them do it for you.
And, yes, you get to use the elite check-in and have access to the lounge as a *G.
