100 easy Continental Airlines miles - subscribe to e-mails
Subscribe to the Continental News & Offers e-mail before Aug. 31, 2009, and receive 100 bonus miles. Go to the promotions registration page and enter Offer Code 57064 and your account number.
It appear to me that Continental intends to make 100 miles offers monthly. Nice.

I must have really bad luck-I have never had any of these types of promos post to my account or my wife's,including the ones from the CC,which we do carry. Given the lack of cooperation from WE CARE,I don't even bother to inquire any longer.
Hopefully others are having better luck-thanks for posting

In other words, if you're NOT a new subscriber, you probably won't get the 100 miles.
Always worth a try, but not necessarily worth a lot of follow-up if it doesn't pan out.

I would suggest for anyone already subscribed they go into their account before registering, unsubscribe from this particular newsletter, then register for the promotion, then subscribe to the newsletter. Unfortunately I didn't think of doing this until after I registered, but I still tried unsubscribing then subscribing figuring it might improve my chances of getting the bonus miles having already been a subscriber.
