My apologies if this information has already been posted. The back of a special AAdvantage newsletter included with my statement details AA's new 1999 HospitAAlity awards, including awards of Hilton HHonors points! These awards are effective June 1st. However, they only give you one HHonors point per mile in 5000 mile increments. This is half of the usual HHonors Reward Exchange rate, which may explain why I haven't found any press releases or any mention of this program on the Hilton site (when it happen to be up and working!). But if you have a few trapped or expiring AA miles or need a few HHonors points to top off an award, it might be worth taking the unfavorable exchange rate.
