Well, it is history. Stimpy and myself got together over cheese sticks, wings, and mucho beers for our first annual get together at Legends in Long Beach. The purpose was to cheer on the Mighty Ducks against the dreaded Red Wings and to keep this post out of OMNI, discuss Frequent Flying and FlyerTalk.
It was a good time by all. Hope to see anyone else who cares to join us for cold ones. The Newcastle was very good thank you! If anyone is coming through either LAX, SNA, or even good old LGB, give one of us a note and I am sure we could have our arms twisted to meet you for a libation or three!

It was indeed a party in paradise.
At least after a beer or two it seemed like paradise.
If your idea of paradise is a tavern with at least 12 televisions showing sports that is.

Actually, I was too busy downing the pints and talking with my friends. But next time, Stimpy and myself will have to bring a camera to record the action.
Put me on your e-mail list if you want to schedule another get together, I usually can find an excuse to do some business in Southern L.A. I love the little LGB airport, reminds me of the airports of 30 years ago.

I say some of you Angelenos (sp?) need to assemble a west coast mailing list, as this idea of a west-coast get together has been tossed around before! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/000993.html
In addition, it has to be grand enough to gain the critical mass needed to attract Rudi to make that "short atlantic trips".

If Rudi comes across the pond the least I can do is make the short hop from Tucson, unless, of course I've planned a trip somewhere else!
