Ameritrade offers a similar deal for $50K but is more attractive for smaller deposits
http://www.ameritrade.com/united/
This is not recommended for accounts under $2K though given the $15 quarterly account maintenance fee

Don't forget, Fidelity has $24.99 comissions vs Ameritrade $10.99
Here's a few more signup deals:
Ameridrade - Starwood
http://www.ameritrade.com/spg/
$2000 - 3000 starpoints
$10,000 - 10,000 starpoints
$25,000 - 20,000 starpoints
TD Waterhouse - American
http://www.tdwaterhouse.com/aolaa/index.html
$10,000 - 10,000 miles
$50,000 - 25,000 miles
Oh, and none of this works with IRA.
Anyone knows of any IRA - friendly offers ?

I believe aggregated family assets with Fidelity of $100,000 (can be over multiple account numbers), drop commissions to $14.95.

I am an AAdvantage elite from Chicago and proud of it. My knees do not care what my home airline is

BTW, 11 are easy. 2 Brokerages, 2 Rollover, 2 Roths, 2 IRA, 2 401Ks and a variable annuity. I don't have a checking account with any bank. I like Fidelity because I can look at my bottom line by logging into just one account.
